The DJ Conference That Goes Beyond DJing

Being a DJ is about more than picking the right track or performing in the booth. It’s also about building a business, navigating a changing industry, protecting your well-being, strengthening your creative practice and finding a community that understands the work.

Level Up is an annual DJ conference in Pittsburgh designed around the needs of the DJ as a full person. The event brings together working DJs, aspiring DJs, artists, creators and industry professionals for an experience that combines education, networking, music, culture and real conversation.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, make stronger connections, explore new opportunities or build a more sustainable career, Level Up is here to help you take the next step.

You Belong in the Room

You don’t need to have a certain number of followers, a packed touring schedule, a specific DJ style or an established name to be part of the Level Up experience. Some attendees have been DJing for years, others are still building their path. What matters most is showing up with curiosity, respect and a willingness to connect with the community. If you care about the craft and want to keep moving forward, you belong in the room.

Not What You’re Used To

Level Up isn’t your typical trade show, niche gathering or industry summit. In fact, a typical comment from new attendees is along the lines of “I don’t even know how to explain this to my community back home but it’s amazing and I’ll be here next year”. We take a bespoke approach to programming based on the needs of the group and to address an ever changing industry (and world). If you’re feeling like all the DJ conferences are starting to look the same, maybe it’s time to try something new and interesting.

Learn From Real Experience

Hear from DJs, creators and industry professionals who understand the realities of building a career in music… And then have lunch with them. And then go to a party with them.

Connect With the DJ Community

Leave With Answers and Questions

Leave with ideas, connections, tools and hopefully a few questions to help you make more intentional decisions in your DJ career and your life.
